Background

Tine Ustad Figenschou is a professor at the Department of journalism and media, Oslo Metropolitan University and affilliated with C-REX. Figenschou has a journalistic background and worked as a researcher at the Department of media and communication (UiO) from 2006-16. Her research interests include international news, mediatization of conflicts, media-elite relations, and media and marginalized groups. At C-REX she will be part of a study of right-wing media criticism and the relations between radical right groups and the mainstream media.
