Krick var postdoktor ved ARENA fra 2017 til 2020. Hun er del av forskningsprosjektet “EUREX – Expertization of public inquiry commissions in a Europeanized administrative order”.

Faglige interesser

Kricks akademiske hovedinteresser er betydningen av ekspertise i politikkutforming, former for kollektiv beslutningstaking, og spørsmål om demokratisk og epistemisk legitimitet. Hennes empiriske fokus er på miljø-, klima- og energipolitikk i Tyskland, Norge og EU.

Bakgrunn

Krick er tidligere postdoktor ved Humboldt-universitetet i Berlin. Hun har en PhD i statsvitenskap fra Technische Universität Darmstadt, hvor hun undersøkte samtykkebasert beslutningstaking i politiske rådgivingsorganer. Hun har en MA i moderne europastudier fra University of North London  og en magistergrad i europastudier fra Universitetet i Osnabrück. Hun har mottatt et postdoktor-stipend fra det tyske forskningsrådet og et doktorgradsstipend fra Friedrich-Ebert-stiftelsen. Krick har også vært gjesteforsker ved National University of Singapore og Universitetet i Oslo, hvor hun undersøkte forholdet mellom epistemisk og demokratisk autoritet i moderne politikkutforming.
