On 3 April, Prof. Christopher Lord from ARENA met with the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE) to address their public hearing on "Parliamentary Scrutiny on EU Defence Affairs". Lord was invited to lecture on parliamentary control of security and defence policy on the EU level, the role of the European Parliament and cooperation with national parliaments.
