Dominika Proszowska is guest researcher at ARENA from 1 October 2018. She is affiliated with the PLATO project, a European training network (H2020-MSCA-ITN) with 15 PhD candidates who investigate the legitimacy of the EU’s responses to the financial crisis.

Proszowska is PhD researcher at Twente Graduate School, University of Twente. Her PhD project is co-supervised by Chris Lord at ARENA.

Academic interests

Proszowska's PhD project analyses how individual’s differentiation in political trust attitudes between different levels of governance affects legitimacy dynamics in multilevel governance systems.

Background

Proszowska holds a Master Degree in Politics from the Kobe University in Japan and an MA in European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Poland. She obtained her bachelor's degree in the European Studies at Jagiellonian University in Poland. She worked for six months as a trainee in the EPP Group in the European Parliament. Earlier, she worked for over a year as a part-time Research Analyst for a fact-checking initiative Demagog.PL.
