Seeking full-time research assistant (TiGRE)

We are seeking someone to assist on an exciting Horizon 2020 project for a period of 1 year (starting October/November 2021).   

ARENA Centre for European Studies is a leading, multidisciplinary research center at the University of Oslo. The Centre is a part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Oslo.

You would assist on the TiGRE project. This EU-funded project investigates trust and distrust in European regulatory governance. Norway is one of the nine countries participating in the project. You can learn more about the TiGRE project on the website: www.tigre-project.eu.

You would mainly assist with conducting and transcribing interviews, data analysis, report writing, and publications. You would also be responsible for tasks related to the daily running of the project.

Desired qualifications and skills

  • A master’s degree in a relevant field (political science, sociology, etc.)
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English
  • Experience with qualitative research
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An eye for detail

It is a benefit if you are interested in the EU or the topic of trust in government and have experience with quantitative research and project management.
