Taran Thune & Magnus Gulbrandsen has recently published a paper in Science and Public Policy, with Ingvild Reymert & Per Olaf Aamodt at NIFU.

Science and Public Policy

The paper looks at the factors that influence differences in how academics are involved in external engagement activities. In particular, the paper investigates whether university-level characteristics matter, when we also control for the influence of individual- and discipline-level factors. We find that university-level variables explain few of the differences in external engagement activities among academic staff in general.

The paper can be accessed here.
