In this workshop we will focus especially on knowledges of nature. Nature knowledges may be regarded as practices with different ontic commitment, with different ideas of order, different materialities, and constituting different socialities. We turn the attention to productions of knowledge, both within and outside of the confines of science, and towards translations that occur. Relevant topics could be indigenous knowledge, social and natural science and philosophy, environmentalism, and information technology, all in relation to nature. We suggest that all contributors pay attention to the idea of thinking through things and the materiality of knowledge.
