PhD Ole André Solbakken har undersøkt følelsenes betydning for vår psykiske helse, hvor bevisste vi er våre egne følelser og hvordan dette slår ut i mellommenneskelige problemer.

PhD Jan Egil Nordvik har fulgt en slagpasient som gjennomgikk flere perioder med intensiv kognitiv trening på datamaskinen. Det gav resultater.

PhD Ragnhild Eek Brandlistuen har undersøkt om barn med medfødt hjertefeil trenger spesiell oppfølging, samt om barn med hjertefeil har større risiko for utviklingsavvik enn andre barn i sine første leveår.

Dette har PhD Marit Råbu studert i doktorgradsavhandlingen: Relational development in psychotherapy from beginning to end. Connecting structural and interpersonal aspects.

Det har PhD Linn Toril Fikke undersøkt i sin doktorgradsavhandling: Non-Suicidal Self-Injury in Adolescents: Executive Functions and the Role of Serotonin in Impulsivity.

Master of Science in Psychology Aslak Fyhri avla nylig sin doktorgrad (dr.philos) med avhandlingen: «Sound reactions? Modelling the influence of socioeconomic status, noise annoyance, noise sensitivity and sleeping problems in subjective health complaints and cardiovascular disease.»

Cofounder of the Society for Psychotherapy Research and initiator of The International Study of the Development of Psychotherapists, Professor David Orlinsky, will give an honorary degree acceptance speech entitled “The Psychotherapeutic Relationship, Personal Life, and Modern Culture".

Cand.psychol. Pia Lyche har nylig avlagt sin doktorgrad med avhandlingen: ”Neuropsychological Functions in Unipolar Major Depression With and Without Co-morbid Anxiety”.

Kristin S. Heiervang har nylig avlagt sin doktorgrad med avhandlingen “In utero radiation exposure and cognitive function: a study of Norwegians exposed prenatally to Chernobyl fallout”.

Katrina Roen er førsteamanuensis ved Psykologisk institutt, og forsker blant annet på kjønn og seksualitet.
