Gender Identity and the Sexed Body
Experiences of health interventions and their outcomes for young people
About the project
This is one of a cluster of international projects focusing on intersex or diverse sex development.
In this project we will interview:
young people (aged 16-25) whose sex development has been different from others
parents with experience of raising a child whose sex development has been different from others
The goal of the research is to inform health professionals about the experiences of young people and their parents.
We hope this research will contribute to improving care for young people and their families.
