The Nordic Network for research on Psychology and Law (NNPL)

The Nordic Network for research on Psychology and Law (NNPL) was constituted in Göteborg (Sweden) in May 2004. The NNPL is a non-profit scientific network, open to Nordic and Baltic researchers within the field of psychology and law.

About the network

The NNPL holds annual scientific meetings at which PhD students and senior scholars within the field of psychology and law come together to present and discuss their research.

The aims of the NNPL can be summarized as follows:

  • To stimulate and strengthen research on psychology and law within the Nordic and Baltic region
  • To provide opportunities for PhD students and senior researchers to present their scientific work to Nordic and Baltic colleagues
  • To initiate and stimulate collaboration between research groups, as well as individual researchers, within the network
  • To stimulate exchange between research teams, in terms of PhD candidates, post-doc positions and visiting professors
  • To enable co-funding for the hosting of international scholars
  • To pool resources in order to initiate joint PhD and Master course
