Background

Håkon Sælen has a PhD in Political Science from the University of Oslo (2016). He now works as Researcher, 50% at the university and 50% at Cicero Center for Climate Research. Both places, he works on the project CICEP (Strategic Challenges in International Climate and Energy Policy.

Håkon has been employed at Cicero since 2007. He has an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Environmental Policy with Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Awards

  • Environment Agency and WWF Environmental Economics and Policy Masters Award 2007, 1st prize.

  • Best overall performance, MSc Environmental Change and Management 2007, University of Oxford.
