Samboerskap, homofilt ekteskap og enslige forsørgere, bonusbarn og bonusforeldre. Disse moderne samlivsformene er ikke tegn på at familien er i ferd med å gå i oppløsning. Familien lever videre i beste velgående, bare på nye måter, sier redaktørene av ny bok.

Institutional Change in Welfare State and Working Life: A conference on advances in sociological theory

Theory of institutional change is presently a central topic in the international debate on sociological theory. The project Institutional Change in Democratic Society, funded by the Norwegian Research Council, links up to this debate. A brief presentation of the project is given below.
In the years 2013 to 2015 the project will be hosting three conferences, of which this is the first one. The 2013 conference on Institutional Change in Welfare State and Working Life is located in Åsgårdstrand, a charming village one hours’ drive south of Oslo.
