Osloforskning announces scholarships for second degree students and researchers

Twice a year, master's students can apply for scholarships of NOK 25,000 for work on master's theses with Oslo relevant themes. (This sum applies from autumn 2016.) Researchers can also apply for support and can receive a larger grant.

Many themes and subject areas are relevant and all exciting project proposals (5-7 pages) will be given serious consideration. Relevant themes include: health, environmental and living conditions, housing conditions, minority cultures, history, architecture, language and policy.

Please note that all applicants must be affiliated with the University of Oslo.

The deadlines for scholarship applications are:

  • 15 February in the spring semester, and
  • 15 September in the autumn semester.

The following criteria apply to researchers with respect to the awarding of scholarships from Osloforskning:
- Specify the activities/expenses for which you are applying for support.
- The activities/expenses must be separate from activities/expenses that are covered by other funding.
