About Osloforskning

Osloforskning is a collaboration between the City of Oslo and the University of Oslo (UiO) and is intended to promote research and recruitment to research that derives its theme from Oslo.

The University of Oslo wants to stimulate Oslo's research community and focuses on both second degree students and established researchers. For its part, the City of Oslo wants to make use of the university's expertise to ensure its management is forward-looking.

The board and academic committee

The board consists of:

  • Monica Lund - chair of the board
  • Lise Kjølsrød - academic director
  • Ivar Alnæs - representative of the City of Oslo
  • Jan Erling Klausen - representative of UiO
  • Even Lange - representative of UiO
  • Henrik Paulsen Mandelid - student representative from the Student Parliament

The academic committee consists of:

  • Lise Kjølsrød - academic director
  • Ivar Alnæs - representative of the City of Oslo
  • Finn Erhard Johannessen - representative of UiO
  • Terje Wessel - representative of UiO

The secretary for Osloforskning is the PhD consultant at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography.
