From central Oslo to the Department of Economics / ESOP
Subway: Take line 3 (Sognsvann), line 4 (Ringen) or line 5 (Storo) westbound to Forskningsparken. Exit the platform on the same side where you arrived, and walk straight until you come to the University. Continue to the second tall (12-story) building, see description above (Location).
Tram: Take line 17 or 18 towards Rikshospitalet, and depart at Universitetet Blindern where you see the tall buildings of the University. The Department is located in the first tall building to the left, see description above (Location).
From Gardermoen Airport to the Department of Economics / ESOP
Take the Airport Express train to the Nationalteateret, then the subway line 3 (Sognsvann), 4 (Ringen) or 5 (Storo) westbound to Forskningsparken, see description above (Subway). The Airport Express train leaves every 20 minutes, the travel time is 25 minutes, and the price is NOK 170.
Taking a taxi is about NOK 690-890 depending on the time of day. Ask for a fixed price when starting the trip. However, we strongly recommend that you take the Airport Express train to Oslo as It is both cheaper and faster, and then a taxi from there to the Department.

The fastest way to get from the airport to Rica Holberg Hotel is to take the Airport Express train to the Nationalteateret. The Airport Express train leaves every 20 minutes, the travel time is 25 minutes, and the price is NOK 170. When you get to Nationalteateret station, walk along Frederiks gate past the castle. Turn left and continue along the tram line, and you will see the hotel straight ahead on the corner by the square. The address is Holbergs plass 1 and the walk takes about 8 minutes.
An alternative if less keen on walking is to take the airport shuttle bus to Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel. It leaves from platform B17 at the airport. This will take about 50 minutes and cost NOK 110. When you get to Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel, Rica Holberg Hotel is just across the square.

Subway: Take line 3 (Sognsvann), line 4 (Ringen) or line 5 (Storo) westbound, to Blindern. When you leave the train, walk up the hill and take a left at the first street (Problemveien). The Central Administration Building is the first tall builiding to your right.
Tram: Take line 17 or 18 towards Rikshospitalet, and depart at Universitetet Blindern. Walk through the campus until you get to the main square. The Central Administration Building is the tall building to your right. Take the lift to Rådsalen, on the 10th floor.
