ESOP - Centre for the Study of Equality, Social Organization, and Performance is a research centre funded by the Research Council of Norway (RCN) as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the Department of Economics.
ESOP was established January 1, 2007.
Objectives
ESOP aims at exploring the links between equality, social organization, and economic performance, both in rich and poor countries.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for Master students who plan to write their thesis.

ESOP cooperates with all leading research institutions in Norway, and some leading institutions abroad.
