Special arrangements for students with disabilities
The Faculty of Social Sciences aims at providing as good education opportunities for students with special needs as for other programme students.
If you are an undergraduate student and require special arrangements, please contact SV-infosenter. If you are a graduate student and require special arrangements, please contact your department.
Special physical arrangements
The Faculty of Social Sciences offers personal study desks in study halls A, B, C and D to undergraduate students who may need these for physical or psychological reasons. You must write an application and attach documentation of your claim. The documentation must be originals or true copies. Hand in the application to SV-infosenter.
If you need to borrow additional aids for your study desk, or you are in need of other forms of special physical arrangements with regards to your studies, please contact SV-infosenter.
Graduate students should contact their department with questions regarding study desks and additional aids for these.
We also offer computers with larger screens for visually-impaired students, and adjustable desks for students that may require this. The computer lab is located on the 2nd floor of Eilert Sundts hus. For more information contact Læringssenteret Eilert (the learning centre).
You can find toilets for students with disabilities on all floors of Harriet Holters hus. Toilets for students with disabilities are also located on the 2nd, 7th and 8th floor of Eilert Sundts hus. The key to the disabled toilet on the basement floor can be picked up at SV-infosenter during study hours.
