Academia Europaea is a European association of scientists and scholars from all academic disciplines, who are experts and leaders in their own subject areas. The organization seeks to promote learning, education, and research.
Kjetil Storesletten is one of the leading macroeconomists in Europe, and currently the highest ranked economist in Norway, according to IDEAS. One of his key contributions to this field of research has been the study of inequality in macroeconomics. He has looked at how heterogeneity in microeconomics influences and is influenced by macroeconomics.
Storesletten is interested in empirically oriented research like studying the economic effects of immigration as well as more theoretical research like measuring individual risk and assessing the future of the welfare state.
