Trygve Haavelmo Centennial Symposium

The Department of Economics commemorated the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Trygve Haavelmo by an international symposium on his contributions to econometrics and economics.

Thursday Seminar by James J. Heckman, Uni Chicago: The Economics of Human Development and Social Mobility

James J. Heckman is a Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago, and recipient of the Nobel memorial prize in 2000. He will present the paper "The Economics of Human Development and Social Mobility".
