Publish or Perish by professor Kalle Moene
A short PhD course on academic writing in economics. June 19 and June 22, 2012.
The main purpose of the course is to discuss the ugly business of publishing papers. What is good research? What does a good paper look like? How is it written? How is it submitted? How is it refereed? How can we make it fly?

How to get there:
The course is located at the Department of Economics.
Subway: Take line 3 (Sognsvann), line 5 (Storo) or line 4 (Ringen) westbound, to Forskningsparken. When you leave the train, you'll go straight ahead passing to the left of one tall building and directly towards another 12 floor building (Eilert Sundts hus B), where the Department is located in the 12th floor. Building # 10 on the map.
Tram: Take line 17 og 18 towards Rikshospitalet, and depart at the stop called "Universitetet Blindern". The Department is located in the first tall building to the left.
