The Center has established four Colloquia in order to critically assess ethical dilemmas; ensure mutual advantage of conceptual and methodological pluralism across disciplines, enabling researchers to integrate and synthesize their work; create research networking arenas; and disseminate knowledge outside of academia.
- Ethical issues Discussing ethical dilemmas: strengthening the ethical awareness related to research on extremism
- Concepts and methods Bridging conceptual and methodological approaches: maximizing the use of conceptual and methodological pluralism
- Resarch networks Creating research networks on right-wing extremism: connecting and integrating research groups
- Dialogue with practioners Enhancing the dialogue between academics and practitioners: developing and disseminating knowledge to stakeholders, practitioners, media, and researchers.
The first three colloquia will have a particular focus on research collaboration across the four Themes. The fourth colloquium will provide arenas for dissemination to a broad variety of groups, most notably non-academic audiences. Each will be set up over different stretches of time throughout the ten years of the Center’s activities, beginning with the first five years.
