The main objective of the book is to investigate the multiple dimensions of the current crisis in Europe and the ways it challenges the sustainability of political order at national, European and global level from a perspective of political sociology.
The contributions use different empirical angles to analyze how the current crisis affects patterns of social exclusion and conflict but also how it activates social networks and new forms of solidarity and social cohesion – locally and transnationally.
